Button Bowl
This is a super cute bowl you can make to store pens, car keys, or any other odds’n'ends in! Just blow up a balloon, glue buttons to it, and then pop the balloon once everything is dry! Not only is it easy to make and looks cute- it’s also functional.
Braided Area Rug
This craft is an easy way to recycle some of those old t-shirts that everyone seems to have but never wears. Using them, you get an awesome area rug to cover up that old dorm tile floor that gets super cold during the winter. This tutorial says you need a crocheting needle to make it, but you really can just follow the directions and braid it instead.
IPod/Phone Charger Holder
Here is a wicked simple and quick craft you can make to store your phone in while it is plugged into the outlet without having to worry about it laying on the floor and possibly getting stepped on by your roommate. All you need is an empty lotion bottle and some fabric or paper that you can use to cover the bottle with. You could even just color it with some Sharpies too!
Magnet Board
I’m the type of person who has about a million post- it notes scattered around my room reminding me of all the things I have to do. Here is a craft that anyone could make for only a dollar to hang up notes, to-do lists, or anything else you need to stay organized! All you need is a dollar store flat cookie sheet and some fabric to cover the sheet with and then Ta-Da! Instant magnet board!
