Getting tired of the same cheeseburger and fries that you always seem to order at the dining halls? Craving something different but not sure what to order? Here are some of the Bridgewater Dining’s undiscovered menu items. Try one of these next time you’re feeling hungry!
Fresh Sushi in Bear’s Den
Now, I’m sure most of you are skeptical of getting sushi at Bear’s Den, it is a pretty unusual menu item. But have no fear; the sushi is super fresh and really yummy. Depending on what type you order, it is between $5 and $8 dining dollars, which is way cheaper than a typical Sushi restaurant!
Meatball Sub in Crimson
I recently ordered a meatball sub at Crimson and it was delicious! Most students usually go to Crimson for the typical pizza, pasta or burger, but this sub really was a great choice. It was on an Italian sub roll and then was heated up in the oven with cheese melted on top. It was a great alternative to my usual Crimson meal.
The Bridgewater Dining Room
Now this dining hall may be the least used by students, so the whole menu is pretty undiscovered. Located right in the RCC across from the Community Service Center, It is a sit down style restaurant AND it completely open to students. You can use your dining dollars or flex money to pay. It is a great place to go eat and it doesn’t feel like the typical dining hall, noisy atmosphere. The main dish they serve rotates depending on the day of the week, but they always serve sandwiches, soups and a salad bar. The hours of operation are limited, 11am to 2pm, but I recommend if you get the chance to come eat here!
So next time you’re eating on campus, how about you try something new and different. There are so many different options for everyone to eat, so give that cheeseburger a break! And if you’re not in the mood for Crimson or Bear’s Den’s standard menu, always hea don over to ECC or Tilly, where they roate the food every day. Be sure to check the menus out online.
